Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla starrer Jolly LLB 3 recently went on floors in Ajmer. While fans are super excited for this satirical courtroom drama, the Subhash Kapoor directorial has reportedly landed in legal trouble as a complaint has been filed against the film’s team in court for disrespecting the judiciary system.

As per NBT, Ajmer District Bar Association President, Chandrabhan Singh Rathod has filed a complaint against the makers and actors claiming that the franchise makes fun of the judiciary system thus tarnishing the image of the Indian Law.

“This decision has been taken considering the first and second parts of Jolly LLB. It seems that the filmmakers, directors and actors do not respect the dignity and prestige of the judiciary of the country’s Constitution at all. The shooting of Jolly LLB 3 is going on in the surrounding villages and areas including the DRM office of Ajmer, which will continue for several days. Even during the shooting of this film, the actors of the film do not seem to be at all serious about the image, prestige and dignity of the judiciary including the judges,” said Chandrabhan reportedly.

The report also states that the Ajmer District Bar Association has applied to the court of Civil Judge Ajmer North to stop the shooting of Jolly LLB 3.

While the first part of the franchise featured Arshad Warsi in the titular role, Akshay Kumar replaced him in the second part. Just like the previous two parts, Saurabh Shukla will reprise his role as a judge in Jolly LLB 3.
