Darshan’s co-star Pavithra Gowda spotted wearing makeup in custody, sub-inspector receives notice

The Karnataka Police has taken action against a woman sub-inspector for allowing Kannada film actor Pavithra Gowda, who is the prime accused in the Renukaswamy murder case and also a co-star of actor Darshan, to use makeup while in police custody. Reports from India Today reveal that the notice was issued on Wednesday from the office of the DCP (West), seeking clarification on the matter. This incident has sparked controversy and raised questions about the handling of the case.

Pavithra Gowda’s makeup controversy started when she was taken to her Bengaluru residence for recording details of the crime scene. During this time, she was observed applying lipstick and makeup, as well as smiling, which led to speculation about her guilt in the current situation. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), S Girish, issued the notice to the woman police-sub inspector from the Vijayanagar police station after media reports highlighted the issue. Girish stated that the sub-inspector should have prevented Pavithra from using makeup, as she was reportedly staying at her home every night where her makeup bag was kept.

In a shocking turn of events, Darshan, Pavithra, and their accomplices are accused of murdering a fan named Renukaswamy on June 10. Allegedly, Renukaswamy had sent abusive messages to Pavithra, which angered Darshan. Although there were rumors of a romantic involvement between Pavithra and Darshan, the actor’s lawyer denied these claims, stating that they were just friends. Meanwhile, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi and their son visited him in Bengaluru Central Jail recently, appealing to fans to remain calm during this challenging time.

This incident has brought to light the complexities of the case and has raised concerns about the treatment of suspects in custody. It serves as a reminder of the importance of fair and impartial handling of criminal investigations to ensure justice is served.
