In a clash of titans at the box office, Suriya’s highly anticipated action-packed film Kanguva is set to release on Dussehra in 2024. Directed by Siva, the film promises to be a visual extravaganza with its grand VFX and intense war sequences. Suriya unveiled the release date of his ambitious project with a poster of his character as a warrior, wielding a sword, and announced, “In cinemas…10-10-2024 worldwide.”
However, Kanguva will face tough competition from Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which is also scheduled to release on October 11. Produced under Alia’s home-banner Eternal Sunshine Production and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala and features Vedang Raina in a pivotal role.
Kanguva features Suriya in a double role and introduces Bobby Deol as the antagonist named Udhiran. The teaser for the film promises adrenaline-pumping sequences, including epic battle scenes, aerial action, and intense fight sequences. Additionally, the film marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and also stars renowned actors like Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
