A legal case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs as a co-defendant claims that his son Christian “King” Combs sexually assaulted a woman working on a yacht chartered by Sean Combs.
Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit alleges that Sean Combs orchestrated the events that led to the assault and then paid to conceal it. This is just one of several lawsuits accusing the producer and music mogul of sexual misconduct. The lawsuit comes in the midst of a federal sex trafficking investigation that prompted Homeland Security agents to search Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami last week.
The plaintiff, Grace O’Marcaigh, recounts that in late December 2022, Christian Combs pressured her to consume spiked tequila on the yacht. She claims that he physically assaulted her and attempted to force her to perform sexual acts. O’Marcaigh has publicly come forward and given permission to be identified in the lawsuit.
Sean and Christian Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, has dismissed the lawsuit as unsubstantiated. Dyer has indicated plans to file a motion for dismissal.
O’Marcaigh asserts that Sean Combs, who chartered the yacht during the 2022 holiday season, had full control over the crew and facilities, enabling the assault to occur.
The lawsuit further details the events of the assault, including Christian Combs’ inappropriate behavior and aggressive actions towards O’Marcaigh.
Following the assault, O’Marcaigh reported the incident to the yacht’s captain, who allegedly failed to act on her complaint after receiving a sum of money from Combs.
The legal action seeks monetary damages for the harm suffered by O’Marcaigh as a result of the assault.
Christian Combs, known for his music career, was present during the recent searches of his father’s residences but was not arrested.
This lawsuit follows another federal case filed by producer Rodney Jones in February, also represented by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, which accuses Sean Combs of coercing him into soliciting prostitutes.
Despite the legal challenges, Combs and his legal team have refuted all allegations made against him.
As a prominent figure in the music industry, Sean Combs has faced public scrutiny due to several lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. However, he continues to be a major force in hip-hop as a producer and entrepreneur.
