The entry-level Compass Sport trim is now more budget-friendly, priced at Rs 18.99 lakh, making it Rs 1.7 lakh cheaper than before. On the other hand, the prices of the other variants – Longitude, Night Eagle, Limited, Black Shark, and Model S – have all increased by Rs 14,000 each.
Key points to note about the Jeep Compass range include:
1. The price range now falls between Rs 18.99 lakh and Rs 32.41 lakh.
2. The 4×4 capability is exclusive to the top-spec Model S automatic variant.
3. The 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine with options for a 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic transmission remains unchanged.

– Sport: Rs 18.99 lakh (revised from Rs 20.69 lakh)

– Night Eagle: Rs 25.18 lakh
– Limited (O): Rs 26.33 lakh
– Black Shark: Rs 26.83 lakh
– Model S: Rs 28.33 lakh

– Longitude: Rs 24.33 lakh

It is important to note that with the discontinuation of the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine option in May 2023, the Compass is now powered solely by a 170hp, 350Nm 2.0-litre diesel engine.
Comparing the Compass range with competitors such as the Hyundai Tucson, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross, it remains competitively priced, starting lower but aligning closely with premium variants of the competition.
