Kangana Ranaut defends her comparison to Amitabh Bachchan: ‘If not me, then who? Khans, Kapoors?’ | Bollywood.

Kangana Ranaut continues to stand by her recent statement in which she likened herself to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, stating that if there is anyone who receives the same level of love and respect in the industry after him, it is undoubtedly her. Taking to social media, the outspoken actor-politician further defended her position by posing the question, “If not me, then who?” She challenged whether it be the Khans or the Kapoors who could claim that spot.

In a recent post, Kangana reiterated her stance by sharing a news report and emphasizing the overwhelming love and appreciation she receives across various states in India for both her acting and her efforts towards women empowerment. She posed the question to those who may object, asking for a viable contender for the position of receiving the most love and respect in the Hindi film industry after the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

During an election rally, Kangana expressed her gratitude for the immense love and admiration she receives wherever she goes, drawing a parallel between herself and Amitabh Bachchan as the recipients of such widespread adoration in the industry.

Currently representing the Bharatiya Janata Party as a candidate for the Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, Kangana’s recent film Tejas did not fare well at the box office. However, she is set to make her solo directorial debut in the upcoming film Emergency, where she will portray the role of the iconic Indira Gandhi. The film also features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade in key roles.
