The wife of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is currently in judicial custody in connection with a murder case, has requested his fans to remain composed and concentrate on doing positive actions. Vijayalakshmi shared a fan artwork on her Instagram account where she addressed Darshan’s supporters as “celebrities” and expressed that the actor was touched by the solidarity shown towards him.

“I appeal to all our celebrities. You are aware of Darshan’s affection for you all. It is disheartening that we are facing these circumstances today and have to maintain a distance from him. I have discussed the current situation with him at length, and it has deeply moved him,” shared Vijayalakshmi.

Darshan has advised all his fans to stay calm and engage in benevolent actions. Vijayalakshmi expressed confidence that he will remain in their prayers.

“We have full faith in the legal system of our country and believe that brighter days lie ahead. I strongly believe that those trying to harm Darshan while he is away will face the consequences from Mother Chamundeshwari,” she added.

Vijayalakshmi encouraged Darshan’s supporters to continue backing him during these challenging times, stating, “Your composure will be our greatest strength. This phase will eventually pass, and truth will prevail.”

Seventeen individuals, including Darshan and his friend Pavithra Gowda, have been implicated in the alleged murder of Renukaswamy. Reports suggest that Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old fan of the actor, had sent inappropriate messages to Gowda, provoking Darshan and allegedly leading to the fatal incident. Renukaswamy’s body was discovered near a stormwater drain close to an apartment in Sumanahalli on June 9.

Darshan and the other accused are presently in judicial custody.
