Nissan Magnite, Magnite facelift, Kiger rival, Nissan SUV, India recall details.

Nissan India has issued a recall for the Magnite SUV, specifically for models built between November 2020 and December 2023, due to issues with the front door handle sensors. It’s important to note that units manufactured after December 2023 are not affected by this recall.

The recall only affects the base XE and mid XL variants of the Magnite, and Nissan has assured customers that it does not compromise their safety. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by the automaker and offered a free retrofit of the sensor to resolve the issue.

In addition to addressing the recall, Nissan is also gearing up to launch a facelift for the Magnite SUV later this year. The updated model is expected to receive cosmetic enhancements, additional features, and the inclusion of six airbags on select variants.
