The upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show is set to feature the talented female cast of Heeramandi, including Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. A new promo released by Netflix India teases an interesting conversation between Kapil Sharma and Sonakshi Sinha regarding her marriage plans.
In the promo, the Heeramandi cast is seen eagerly waiting to indulge in some delicious panipuri at a stall, with Kapil playing the role of the seller. Sonakshi politely requests panipuri for everyone, to which Kapil amusingly responds that no one will be served as it’s not for those who address him as ‘bhaiya (brother)’.
During another segment, Manisha Koirala reveals the nervousness felt on set before every scene, leading to a discussion on the number of retakes each actor required. Sonakshi claims to have done only 12 retakes, but Richa surprises everyone by admitting to a whopping 99 retakes. The episode also features Kiku Sharda dressed as a courtesan, bringing laughter and joy to the set.
In a funny exchange, Kapil mentions the marriages of Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani, leading Sonakshi to playfully express her desire to get married by saying, “Mujhe zor se shaadi karni hai (I want to get married with full force).”
Heeramandi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, delves into the cultural backdrop of a dazzling district through the stories of courtesans and their patrons during India’s freedom struggle in the 1940s.
