Triumph Bonneville T100, T120-inspired Brixton Cromwell 1200 set to launch in India soon

Brixton Motorcycles, a brand with Austrian ownership and a British name, is gearing up to make its mark in the Indian motorcycle market. The company, which manufactures its motorcycles in China, recently revealed its plans to introduce a range of models in India. These models include the Crossfire 500 X, Crossfire 500 XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200 X.

The Crossfire 500 X and Crossfire 500 XC both feature a powerful 486cc twin-cylinder engine that delivers 47.5hp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm at 6,750rpm. The Crossfire 500 X boasts a retro roadster design, while the Crossfire 500 XC sports a rugged scrambler style.

On the other hand, the Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200 X are powered by a robust 1222cc twin-cylinder engine that outputs 83hp at 6,650rpm and 108Nm at 3,100rpm.

Brixton Motorcycles Austria, led by the KSR Group GmbH, is collaborating with KAW Veloce Motors, a subsidiary of the KAW Group, to establish a production facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The facility is expected to have a production capacity of over 40,000 units.

The company is set to launch its initial batch of motorcycles in India during the festive season, with plans to expand its lineup and establish retail outlets in key cities such as Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
