Yamaha has introduced a new variant of its popular Fascino scooter, the Fascino S. This new variant comes with a unique ‘Answer Back’ function, which is accessible through Yamaha’s mobile app. The feature helps in locating the scooter by activating both left and right indicators along with a horn sound for two seconds.
Despite this new addition, the Fascino S remains mechanically unchanged for 2024. It is still powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.2hp and 10.3Nm of torque. The scooter weighs 99kgs and offers a generous underseat storage capacity of 21 litres.
The Fascino S is available in three variants: Drum, Disc, and the newly introduced S variant. The Drum variant starts at Rs 79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Disc variant is priced at Rs 91,130 (ex-showroom Delhi). The S variant, with its matte red or matte black finish, starts at Rs 93,730 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the matte dark blue variant is priced at Rs 94,530 (ex-showroom Delhi).
In terms of competition, the Yamaha Fascino S goes up against the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, and the Hero Destini 125 Xtec. With its unique features and stylish design, the Fascino S aims to attract customers looking for a reliable and practical scooter option.
