Popular actor Sarah Hyland recently discussed the potential return of the beloved American sitcom TV series Modern Family. In an interview with People, Hyland expressed her excitement at the prospect of revisiting her character, Haley Dunphy, and seeing how she has evolved since the show’s finale.
“I would want to see a script first,” Hyland shared. “For me, creatively, I would need to understand Haley’s journey and where she is headed next. I hope to see her continue to balance her career aspirations with motherhood and explore her creative side,” she added.
During the 11 seasons of Modern Family, Hyland’s character, Haley Dunphy, navigated various challenges and milestones, including becoming a mother to twins in the final season.
“I envision Haley following in Claire Dunphy’s footsteps to become a successful mother and businesswoman. I would love to see her unleash her creativity once again. The possibilities are endless,” Hyland remarked.
Speculation about a potential Modern Family reboot arose after photos from the set were shared by former co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson on Instagram Stories.
When asked about returning to the show, Hyland expressed her fondness for the cast and crew, saying, “I adore Modern Family and everyone involved. Jesse and I have a special bond, and I would be thrilled to reunite with the cast,” as reported by People.
